What do I do after a song has been requested?
When you are logged in to your artist dashboard and in your show, you’ll immediately see a new song request. From there, you’ll swipe right on the song request before you play the song!

Do I need to print off a new QR code for each show?
No! Your QR is static to you as an artist/band and follows you from show to show. There is no need to print off new QR codes for each show.

How long does it take to get paid?
We pay you within 24 hours of your show! Bank processing days vary, so it may take an additional 1-2 business days for the funds to show in your account.

How secure is Stripe?
Security is a huge priority for us and for Stripe, which is why we selected them as our platform of choice. Stripe is internationally recognized and used by some of the largest companies in the world like Booking.com, Wayfair, Peloton and more. As a note, Stripe holds your information and is not something we can ever see or have access to.

What percentage of the tips do you take?
We take 10% of whatever money is earned through NextSong. This allows us to cover tech and credit card fees.

Do you accept bitcoin payments?
We do not accept or pay with Bitcoin. Audience members tip and request songs via NextSong using USD and we pay you using USD after each show.

Can I update or change my setlist?
Yes! Our newest update allows artists to edit and update their setlist by adding or removing songs for any upcoming show.

Is there a subscription or fee we have to pay to use NextSong?
No, NextSong is a free platform with zero subscriptions or fees!

Do I have to play a song that has been requested?
No, it’s your show! If you don’t wish to play the requested song at that time, you can save it for later.

What happens if I don’t play a requested song?
In our terms and conditions it states that the audience is submitting a request and there is no guarantee the song will be played. If you don’t play the song you still keep the money that is backed behind the request.
